Last week my husband had a heart attack. Even stating that fact is quite frightening, he's ok and the prognosis is good. It is a very helpless feeling but we are doing fine right now and I thought it'd be a good time for a joint project. The doctors now want to keep close track of any changes or consistencies so they ask that the patient record their stats everyday. Being a scrapper, a plain old notebook seemed just that, too plain. I made the cover with some scraps, a couple border punches and some rickrack. Ken helped with the Zutter Bind-it-All and we came up with a notebook that I think this is much cuter than the school variety. There is no end to what you can do with your scrapbooking tools and supplies.
I'm so glad to hear your husband is ok and that his prognosis is good. I like the notebook you made.
ReplyDeleteOh my, that IS scary. I'm so glad to hear he's ok.
ReplyDeleteYour altered notebook is wonderful! What a great example of using our creativity in a practical way.

Well wishes to your husband Marlene. What a great book to keep track of his progress:) It gave the idea to make one for my father to keep track of his blood sugar...he uses a legal yellow pad...thanks for sharing:)
