Readers Pages and Button Flowers

Today we have some pages and a neat embellishment idea to share with you from one of our readers.  Bev Code is one of our Canadian readers.  "I am a wife, mother of 2 boys who are married with families, 4 grandchildren and many loving friends. I am retired and loving it.  I basically started scrapping in 2009 when I found online scrap sites that inspired me .. I have come a long way since then. I don't think I have a defined style because I still like to learn new things, try new techniques and it varies so much with what ever the challenge I am working on at the time.
In this first project Bev used some blocking, a banner, and some clusters elements. She also stayed with a monochromatic look which really highlights her photo.

Bev wanted to share this project since we as scrapbookers, often capture memories about our loved ones, but tend to forget about capturing our own stories. Great reminder!

Here is the really cool technique that Bev is sharing for making button flowers.

Isn't that so cute???  And so easy too!  Just look at all these really cute flowers Bev made:

Check out these pages where Bev used her button flowers as embellishments:

Thanks Bev for being a faithful reader of our blog and for sharing your great projects and super cool tutorial! You can see more of Bev's creations at her blog: Bee Cee Creativity

Remember that you can be featured here too. If you have pages you'd like to share simply email them to us. We love to see your creations!
