Introducing Our Featured Artist for Nov. 19

Welcome again to another fabulous featured artist. Some of my favorite things about featured artist today is getting to feature a different scrapbooker each week! I just LOVE that :)
Today I am featuring a fun and talented scrapper! She has a really unique and super fun scrapbook style! I just love the way she uses colors and patterns on her work and produces neat looking pages. She always creates pages with her signature style and neat techniques! I know you will want to check out her blog here to see more of her gorgeous layouts! You can also see a lot of more of her work in her gallery here, so make sure you check that out ;)  Let's get to know our fabulous featured artist!

Hello! My name is Alia, and I am both excited and honored to be a Featured Artist here at Ideas for Scrapbookers today! This is a blog I check out all the time for crafting inspiration. I am turning 28 years old today and I live in Massachusetts. I am an elementary school teacher, currently teaching fifth grade at the school I attended as a child. When I am not teaching, I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, reading, organizing, traveling, decorating, and studying Arabic. I began scrapbooking in 2005 when I returned from one of many trips to visit my family in Egypt. I had taken a few hundred pictures and decided I wanted to do something special with them. I roamed into a craft store and came out with lots of goodies to make my first scrapbook. The rest is history! I am primarily an 8.5x11 scrapper who loves to creatively document travel adventures as well as favorite everyday moments and special times with friends and family. I hope you'll check out the tutorial I created for Ideas for Scrapbookers!

Again, please visit her gallery here: Alia M and her fun blog here: http://straightfromthescraploft.blogspot.com/
Check back in a bit for her really cool tutorial on using left over chipboard sheets as the base of the page! ;)
