Today we are working with a really fun product for adding some texture and dimension to your creations. It's called Flower Soft. They are little sprinkles of color that can enhance elements on your scrapbook pages and cards. I've seen people use them to create floral arrangements for doll houses too.

Flower Soft comes in many colors and combination of colors. Each in a small clear container. I'm using the Spring Mix color combination for this project.

First thing to do is to remove some of the Flower Soft into a larger container, like a bowl to allow it to expand. Rolling it through your fingers a bit will help it to separate and fluff up. You'll be amazed at home much Flower Soft is in each of those containers!

Cover your work area with something to capture loose Flower Soft. I used a sheet of waxed paper. Apply some tacky glue to the area that you want to be covered by the Flower Soft. A small applicator for the adhesive will allow you to make more intricate designs.

While the glue is wet, sprinkle the Flower Soft on it. You can tap down lightly on top of the Flower Soft to press it into the glue. If you're making fine designs, use your finger or some tweezers to gently push the Flower Soft to the shape that you want.

Allow it to dry and then tap off the excess. Be certain to gather up the excess Flower Soft and replace it in your container to use on future projects.

Flower Soft is not just for flowers. On this card, I enhanced some of the butterflies in the stamp image. There is a white Flower Soft that makes a great look of snow, blue can be used to enhance water elements and clouds. The possibilities are as limitless as your imagination!
