New Shape Inspired Pages

Good Saturday, Pam here with some new pages I have done lately and the inspiration behind my layouts. As you may already know by my gallery, I love to push myself with challenges and such. My latest challenge was using common shapes (or products) to inspire my pages! In my next two pages I will hopefully inspire you to challenge yourself to do this :) .

What do you see when you look at this? I love to play darts. Oh yes, in college I was obsessed with darts and thus the dart board look was used here. I love that the center is just perfect for that one special photo. Here you will see that I created my own dart board and also this functions as my vacation introduction page. Sometimes I like to start off trips with an introductory page like this. This design allowed me to use a ton of  papers from one of my my favorite collections, Pink Paislee Prairie Hill (and also a few from my other fav collection Simple Stories Summer Fresh Collection). I just love the colors of each! I hope to create a digital template at some point for this page so keep your eye open :)

This time I was inspired by the shape of tickets. I just love the cut corners and cool inside border of tickets. I actually used ink around the outside (which is something I almost never do) and I did faux stitching. This ticket idea is just perfect for a horseback riding page. Alternating the tickets orientation gave it a neat look to my layout. As you can see once again I used PP Prairie Hill and SS Summer Fresh Collection!

Now it is your turn! What kinds of inspiration are you getting as of late?
