Color Combo: Yellow & Blue

I am not exactly sure what it is but this spring the color combo yellow and blue are popping up everywhere!  I have been attracted that color combo when buying new clothes, home decor and now my crafting! Today I want to show you a few things I have been in the past few weeks that show case this color combo - in a variety of shades.

Here is a layout I created for a sketch challenge over at CK Club and as a twist they challenged you to use yellow and navy - I was all about that!  The majority of my paper is from sassafrass lass and I just love how I was able to mix and match a verity of their collections on this one layout.  I feel this layout gives on some rich color vibes and has a warm feel to it.

I made this gift bag an tag set for special friends gift (its all about the packaging).  I love that I was able to make this set feel so light and breezy just by changing the tone of the colors, they are a bit more pastel than the layout above.

Lastly are these adorable chevron bags with felt stars.  These are tiny bags, big enough to be a gift card holder.  My son is always in need of a boys birthday gift so these little bags will come in handy to slip a gift card into at the last minute.   I found these colors to be bright and bold - perfect for little boys! :)

I hope these ideas help inspire you to give this color combo a try!
