Introducing Our Featured Artist for Oct. 15!

It's Friday and time for featured artist inspiration! Our artist for today is very talented and has a great post to share today! She shares lots of fun things on her blog in addition to her scrapbook creations ... go here to see what I am talking about! I found her scrapbook pages to be very well designed and just have that special touch that I love! Let's get to know our featured artist, Amanda ... and don't forget to stop by to see her post on creating a cute mini album!

Back in 2005 I got married to my best friend and as soon as I saw all the pictures from the photographer I thought about giving scrapbooking a try! I have met many people, made the best of friends and traveled all over the country scrapbooking with them. Aside from the scrapbooking, I'm a long time photographer, quilter, knitter, crocheter (is that a word?!) and art+craft enthusiast. You name the craft and I have no doubt that I have tried it! During the work day, you'll find me in administration for local government and after hours, I spend the rest of my time in endless pursuit of my never ending to-do list. At any given time I will have at least ten craft projects in the works, five or six books I'm reading, a pile of magazines on the end table in the living room, a couple dozen reality tv shows on my dvr (it's a sickness!) and a half dozen windows open on the computer. What can I say, I'm a multitasker! I don't tend to define myself by one type of scrapbook style either -- I love them all. Digi, paper, flowers, graphic, simple, complicated, glittery, distressed. I am an equal opportunity scrapper! I'm on the design team for Flamingo Scraps ( and the Creative Team for GoneScrapbooking ( published weekly on ( Please come by my blog ( to say hi or swing by Flamingo Scraps for our 2nd Anniversary bash (giveaways every week -- one lucky person will win a new Teresa Collins stamp making machine!).
